A Vida São Dois Dias is W Barcelona's 2023 new year's eve celebration. This project required an identity design along with promotional content and physical materials for guest interaction.
The theme for the party this year was the (20)20s. A revival of the 1920s party culture a century later. Think of The Great Gatsby and big feather boas.
The identity is a play on the two time frames of the 1920s and 2020s. The base type is an art deco style typography, which in turn is transformed into 3D liquid chrome as a play on current typographic trends. The usual geometric art deco frames also get more organic shapes along with the chrome treatment.
