Clo·ser is an app that is currently in development. It's a refuge from flashy social media and doom scrolling, it's a hub for meditation, mindfulness and connecting with friends on a personal level. The app provides relaxing podcasts, asmr experiences, horoscope analysis and the possibility to share these experiences with other users.
The identity takes inspiration from the cosmos: complete darkness that contrasts the various light sources of the universe. The color palette is majorly pure black on white, chosen for its interaction with OLED screens and their ability to show pure black, which makes the screen seem like it was turned off if it wasnt for the UI elements in white. Creating an "infinite" effect of not being sure where the screen ends and the phone starts.
The UI doesn't use any boundaries between elements, all text and buttons are free in the screen like astros floating in space. The app also features smooth ghost-like shape animations made in 3D that loop around screen elements, these are inspired by cosmic formations like nebulas or even auroras.
